Just hang on and you'll never have a loss.
Of course the asset value has changed, but in tech stocks much of the valuation is relative to other tech stocks and not based on a real tangible like book value or even PEG. In a general tech wreck the relative value does not change as drasticly as the share price indicates. Comparing tech stocks to houses is an apples/oranges kind of arrangement (My asset value declined more than the value of my house, but I expect to get that back sooner or later, while I certainly don't expect my house to grow or split - at least I hope not).
