Great information, Jon. The reports of you and Parkinson are about the only real positives that I am able to find, but they were enough to increase my LOR shareholdings last week by a third and double my (small) GSTRF holdings this morning. The whole problem as I see it is in cost effectively reaching small pockets of customers worldwide before the system runs out of money. I have no question there are enough customers, but they are of many different types in many different locations.

What kind of a place is this GMPCS sales office. Is it the only one they have for the whole country? Clearly, 3 UPS pickups a day could possibly account for the entire production of GSTRF phones by QCOM. 400 per day would do it with just a few days off for rest each month. So why haven't they run out of phones to ship yet?

And one more question. How can this outfit offer minute and plan rates when Airtouch has to provide the connections? Apparently they have a deal with Airtouch?

Thanks for your enthusiasm. It feels like the old days when I could find no one who gave QCOM that much of a chance except on the SI board.

Sincerely, Lance

Jon, what do you mean GONE on Globalstar (which has not come back, YET ...)?
You haven't sold out, surely?

Thanks for the post. It reinforces my good feelings about G*.

Regards,
Jeff Smith

Jon, Thanks for your visit and update on GMPS. Not all of us can go to the office. I will be going to the shareholders meeting on May 9th in New York and will be happy to give all an update.

Can you imagine the competitive advantage that Vodafone AirTouch/GTE/Bell Atlantic will have over just their other American competitors when they, only will be able to provide their customers the option of totally seamless coverage in the US not to mention the global coverage? The public will come to expect it in the near future.

Happy Investing,

Investartist

P.S. I am more convinced than ever that GSTRF has the most upside investment potential with limited downside potential.
It is my firm belief that this will be a $500-$600 stock in 3-5 years.
Even Longer GSTRF

Jon. Thanks for the report of your GMPCS visit.

Is it your impression that they may be selling "dozens", or "hundreds", or what order of magnitude of phones?

This is from one location, I understand. How many distributor locations are there (anyone know), and how unrepresentative is GMPCS of a "typical" representative? Anyone know?

Best,
John
