Exacctnt, Re: Why don't you explain how the exercising of employee options and the selling of put warrants contributes to MSFT's income

This guy songs so familiar with another one on the INTC
thread claiming the 2B+/quarter profit were all clever
creative accounting and INTC should be posting red each quarter instead :-)

Why don't you explain how the exercising of employee options and the selling of put warrants contributes to MSFT's income.

Exacctnt,

I don't have to possess the ability to explain gravity to be able to understand its impact on my life. Nor do I have to understand all the mechanics of GAAP accounting rules to be able to how the exercising of employee options adds to the revenue of a company, especially when distributed liberally throughout the staff ranks. But on the other hand, I certainly don't believe it necessary to reinvent the wheel either. So that is why I will repost the link to Bill Parish's article on MSFT:

billparish.com

billparish.com

So rather my providing you endless humour trying to put GAAP accounting rules in layman terms, why don't you provide us the benefit of your perceived self-importance and tell us why Parish is wrong.

Regards,

Ron
