Oh, Yes, the one ounce Krugs were counterfeited terribly during that time, in order to not only put "earlier/pre-sanctions" dates on the poured pieces, but to facilitate the titanium "innards" after construction. Quite a sophisticated little scam.

In fact, in that era, one of the hottest selling gizmos at the AMA shows of that time was the specific impedence holder for measuring the electrical pos/neg resistance going through Krugs before the dealers would purchase them.

Sure wish I knew where mine still was. If you EVER run across one in your travels and sojourns, I'd sure like to get my hands on one again. I just have made too many moves in too few years to know where everything is anymore<g>...and NO I won't admit to being fergit-ful neither in my advancing antiquity.<vvbg>
