OT. Divine Interventures CEO gave an interesting long presentation that was posted to the SI DVIN Thread by Netconductor. This is the link:

I am refering to the DVIN's CEO, Filipowski, comments because they parallel many of the ideas that Son has expressed at various times. Filipowski appears to be copying the Softbank model and he is even using the term, "Internet Zaibatsu". That article I posted earlier today that quoted Son's comments are also part of the theme of Filipowski's remarks.

From the Bloomberg story:

"Softbank's President Masayoshi Son, may have those doubts in mind when speaking at a Softbank welcome ceremony for new
employees today. He urged the hires to steer clear of conventional wisdom.
``Please keep a challenging spirit and be free from various
strains of common sense that exist in the world,' said Son."

Filipowski says to steer clear of doing what the customers want and to not pursue quality. Read the full article at the DVIN thread to understand what Filipowski meant and what Son is also saying.
