Dear DWB: Not by me. I merely quoted an article sent me. I think Peter figured it out however I went to his URL and couldnt identify from it who the singular beneficiary would be. Names like TI and INTC were in there but nowhere did I see ERICY although I did see MOT. They do use the name Blue Tooth a lot in it though. I agree that it was my original understanding that the main original purpose of Blue tooth was to eliminate cables and all from PC's in the immediate area. The reason I keep bugging people on this is because I own stock in GBLX and TYC both of which have fiber optic systems (or will have in TYC's case) and from them I have learned the costliness of that last mile of installation. If that were to be solved cheaply the whole world of broadband would change dramatically IMHO as would our lives. I am always on the lookout for that sort of thing. JDN
