Japan Hot Stock: Avex Down 10% After Institutions Sell Dow Jones Newswires TOKYO (Nikkei/Dow Jones)--Shares of Avex Inc. (J.AVX or 7860) closed 10% lower Tuesday after active selling by institutional investors, market players said. Avex shares closed down Y1,750 at Y15,800 after touching a record low of Y15,550 at one point in morning trade on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. Volume reached 180,700 shares, more than double Monday's total. Some traders said institutional investors might have sold to generate cash to obtain shares in Oracle Corp.
