<Where is everyone?> I've been hiking in Moab, Utah area. Beautiful and uncrowded National Parks (Arches and Canyonlands). None of my limit orders to sell HAL or buy FLC, etc. hit over vacation. But sold some HAL near close yesterday for 42.5. May be able to buy back in 30's. HAL has a recent history of warning about earnings disapointments.

How about that FLC hitting 22 today. My biggest holding and not selling yet.

DOW, NAS, and crude all dropping today. Buying op? API's may not be of much importance this week with planned output increases. IMHO we may be in for a significant pullback in OSS and E&P stocks. Then again maybe that is wishful thinking since after HAL sale, I'm close to 50% cash.

I'm in a conservation mode. I agree with Slider's philosophy on margin use. Namely use for short time periods when extraordinary opportunities are present. For sure don't be leveraged during a substantial drop.

Take care all. Winkman
