You should be ok now.

I just closed my put position at $68. Loss of $40 on 3 contracts. I am glad I was just tipping my toe into it. Anyway, any time I feel this unstoppable urge to close a position, it usually means that the bottom is near. So you should be ok now.

I may monitor the stock for a couple of days. If I think it will stop falling, I may sell some May puts to try to recoup some losses.

I sold off a lot of positions I deemed risky a couple of weeks ago. I forgot to look at the puts since they were so out of money. Big mistake. This portion of my portfolio is really dragging everything down.
