Gopher Re: What I hate most is seeing all my AMD gains going just to support the losses of the rest of my portfolio.

And diversification is supposed to be a sound investment policy

Gopher,
You should feel very fortunate. Just think how bad things would look with out your AMD.

Comment: Looks like Nasdaq is settling out now at the 4000 level...Should get a good bounce soon, maybe even this afternoon...Lots of good Q1 earnings on the horizon and that'll set a fire under Nasdaq again!

Gopher, tell me about it. It's all because Ted told us to diversify :)

I sold a couple hundred shares at $53-ish and bought several hundred shares of ACOM at $28. I bought my couple hundred shares back in the high fifties and my ACOM is around $20. It's all Ted's fault.

But just sit back. You know NASD will be back, then life will be just grand.

Just remember most investors out there don't even have AMD to break even this last week & a half!

Dave

Hehe, it is a sound investment policy, what if you had any single one of the other companies other than AMD. ;)
