Though the drop in tech stocks tarnishes the value of ALSC's portfolio a bit, it remains deeply undervalued and it is positioned in the sweet spot in a very hot industry. Here's a report that came out today:

04:18 ET Fabless Semiconductor Association : A group of 240 chip companies, accounting for 8% of 1999 worldwide revenue, say demand for chip wafers will increase 39% this year and 48% next year - the WSJI reports.

When people are running scared and tossing stocks, they may temporarily favor the stocks that feel safest. Then they will hunt for the stocks that have most value and those with the most potential. This one has tremendous undervalued potential. It is a great time for bargain hunting.
