JDN

You may be right. Looking at the downside, the way I see it, is if they break up MSFT into a bunch of Baby Bills, the value creation there will likely be much greater than the sum of the parts as it currently stands. Look at how the Baby Bells did after the breakup of AT&T.

JDN; Bill Gates is a maverick. He's not one of the "boys" and doesn't play by their rules. Henry Ford, on the other hand, was a Nazi sympathizer, anti-Semite, and hired thugs to bust the heads of anyone who caused labor unrest at his auto plants. Capitol Hill called HIM an "American success story"! If anyone thought the government was going to stop with the tobacco industry...think again! Who ends up paying for all these lawsuits....and who is making all the money off them? What happens if they go after AOL next? An argument CAN be made that AOL has a stranglehold on e IM market. 5.0 CAN be construed as unfair business practice. This is nothing more than govt. bullsh!t!!! cb
