"Getting Out When the Getting Is Bad "- at TheStreet.com

Tech stock panic is feeding on itself.

I don't think it's "close to buying time". The margin calls must be
rampid right now. With little buying interest only the sells remain.
Any stock with a PE over 300 is an easy target.

VRSN 115- 1 5/8 holding up well with a PE of 3887 according to Yahoo:

One major disadvantage of this thread: No bear strategy, which is why I shop around. I'm short a couple, long a couple and I'm a little up for today. Got fried and stopped out on ORCL, but most of my NYSEs doing well.

I've noticed a disturbing trend... if I mention a long on this thread, strange things happen to that very stock within 20 minutes (yes, I have T&S). Same with my shorts, e.g. PLUG (no longer short, Nok). Not sure if I have some lurking enemies out there, but I've noticed this since February. I have turned this "behavior" into a money-making strength. Sounds like paranoia, but it's just a benign statement of fact.
