ATTENTION.......

>>I have to say that it is actually a well written post ... you have hit the nail on the head!

Just as you have described, this is the reason that the "Steve Jobs" and "Steve Ballmers" of the world get so much attention ... they "stand on chairs" ...

I had never quite thought of it in this way ... but it's a very good explanation of what get's people's attention ... not numbers, earnings, strategy, and presentations ... but instead *how* they are presented ...

... and that reminds me of an article that I read in Wired magazine years ago ... Jon Katz stated that "... attention will be the currency of the future!"

He's right ... ;-)>>

BING....GO!!

Thanks Fred & Scott for the kind words.

Sorry Scott that I never returned messages back to you but I've been extremely busy on multiple personal projects.

I guess I lose the $20 bet because www.chairstanders.com is available. If I had the time I think I could build a community around the site. You know a kinda of cult community. Remember that Seinfeld episode where everybody in NY started cutting their candy bar with knife and eating it with a fork. My goal would be for everybody at next year's Brainshare conference to stand on their chair. I know alot of chairstanders in my personal life and some stepstanders (i.e. people that don't quite have the confidence YET to stand completely on the chair).

I'm going backpacking across Europe with my significant other for the next 3 months so good luck to all Novell investors and may all the rolls go your way.

Later

Jimmy
