GT beaten down; SYY on an strong uptrend

is looking okay at these levels.. Looks to be reversing on stronger than average volume. Fundamentals are not bad either as next quarter (first quarter '00) they are expected to move back to $0.60 from $0.36 for the reporting quarter. Not an earnings play, GT never beats estimates but it may be good for a small pop.

On March 10, 2000 Brown Brothers Harriman analyst David Hill issued a 3 page Daily Notes Report on SYSCO Corp. Report highlights: 'A BUY rating was maintained with a 12-month target price of $45 per share. The company should sustain a growth rate of 14% over the next three years
SYY is sysco.. Their trucks are rolling here 24 hours day.

The stock has been on a strong uptrend since March 13, when 5 candlesticks formed The Rising Three Methods which is a bullish continuation pattern. It also consists of five lines: a tall white candlestick (on March 6) precedes three small, usually black, real bodies (March 7,8, and 9) that hold within the white candlestick's range. The fifth line of this pattern is a strong white candlestick (March 12) that closes at a new high. Once this pattern finished the stock went from 32 to 38 3/8 today. Not a massive rise, but all this while the nasdaq was tanking.
