Lurqer: Ya, I've been getting stroked lately... with a cat of nine tails.

Feels so good when I stop buying.

GLOBALSTAR to be used in ONSTAR

Does anyone have any information on the prospect of GSTRF being used in ONSTAR. I read the newsrelease from VODAFONE this morning and they discussed Onstar heavily. Vodofone is one of the major owners and founders of Globalstar. Check out the Vodafone.com website and look for satellite coverage. Stated that it would be in 4 million cars in 3 years.

Onstar works through analog ground cell service I believe currently provided by GTE. It does use a Geopositioning satellite to locate your car but all outgoing information must come through the cell. This means that if you are out of or between cells you are screw**. Globalstar would offer them digital universal service with no chance of being out of coverage.

I know that two weeks ago George Gilder said that he spoke to a European service provider who stated that the auto manufacturers were very interested in GSTRF.

It is a pretty exciting additional source of revenue.
