Leigh- Apparently(and I'm not quite sure I believe it) TeraBeam overcomes the bird problem via a dispersed beam at the receiver end. Of course this means nothing at the origination points, but I don't think there bird obstacle comments were ever challenged on the TeraBeam thread.

I'm not sure what it's like in other cites, but in Tampa there are what are called, "Turkey Buzzards," that constantly soar around the skyscrappers of downtown area. They are quite a sight to see. Literally the size of small turkeys soaring around the tops of buildings.

So in the case of fSONA, how do you get around the, "bird problem?"

Of course, my questions are specifically targeted at the voice/video market. Where a momentary disruption of data flow has a great effect on quality. -MikeM(From Florida)
