John, the market is very liquid in CSCO calls. Thousands of contracts have traded at every April strike from 60 to 85. In excess of 10,000 contracts have traded for the 75, and almost that much for the 70.

It sounds to me like you got a problem with a broker. The blame certainly doesn't rest with the market makers.

I did get a fill on 10 Jan02 67.5 CSCO Leaps at 20 7/8 this morning.
