I bought some SFE today, Mike. When tech's good earnings reports start in earnest next week, suddenly everything will be rosy instead of glum--we've seen the same scenario played out in many pre-earnings periods in the past. After all, Msft is only one company.......ann

A mixed bag from my toolbox. Needless to say, price collapses do not usually support bullish chart patterns, but I am somewhat surprised to see that in the aftermath of a 50% decline, that my Advanced GET pattern is still showing a bullish wave count, still targeting 130-180 before a completed five wave advance. The current Wave 4 should have ended in the low 40's, but I suspect that my internal wave count will not tolerate much more weakness before flipping bearish.

Point and Figure is a mixed bag, longer-term Sell Signals coupled with a shorter term Buy on Wednesday. But P&F says that the Internet sector is washed out and any strength from here would trigger a major Buy Signal for the sector.
