To all
Can anyone explain what effect if any a dramatic reduction in stock value has on a company's pending acquisitions? If these deals are done for a set dollar amount then as price declines and more stock has to be used to consummate a deal it seems very dilutive and negative. Can anyone enlighten me?
Thanks
Ken

If this is not capitulation I don't know what would be construed as such. This was my first purchase of JDSU since my initial buy a year ago in April. Think many of the tech stocks got overextended and are now quite oversold and due for a significant bounce. Take a look at some of the intraday swings in some of the major high fliers and its amazing. Was wild to see JDSU at 82 an hour ago and others like CMGI in the low 70's, NTAP at 45 and change, Ciena down below 80. Simply amazing and IMO is what buying opportunities are all about. Will be interesting to see how things workout in the days ahead. Will be looking for a double bottom on lighter volume to suggest we've hit a bottom.
