Anindo, if it repeats the Nikkkei melt-down then this was just a warning shot. i'll look the charts over tonight. anyway, my guess is that at some point we will get a real, unrecoverable BK. it could happen within the next two weeks, or alternatively in the fall. you may be right that this has cleared out some excesses in the short term. consider however that many players have simply been wiped out today...especially the margined ones. so the greater fool reservoir has shrunk, and that means no roaring comeback for the bubble stocks in the near term imo.
