<<I wonder how many listened ?>>

None probably. I guess it's the sort of thing people have to live through before they can learn it.

I don't know about other heavily margined folks but I hardly got decimated. I am down the last two days of profits, and after reallocating today I am coming back rapidly and strongly now. Looks like I will lose Monday's profits, and a little of Friday's, today.

In other words, I am better off than if I would be if I had sat on cash for more than two days. That being said, I would have loved to have chosen yesterday afternoon to have taken profits. Also, had large positions in UPR and APC that greatly helped me out this morning.

The way you lose big on margin is to sell on a big down day like today and sit on the losses because you are afraid.

Actually overmargined at the moment...

I'm at 50% margin and I have bought 2 out of my 16 buy orders that are in place. Picked up HOFF and UFAB both at the low of the day (so far).

<Not a bad time to have some powder dry...>

Agree, used mine to buy a lot more FLC in 18's and low 19's. A bit scary at the time, but knife seemed to stop. And long term, probably a cheap price. Missed TDW.

MSN's new real time intraday graphs are "neat". Although I still like SI's real time quotes. I keep several screens open on my desktop.

Fidelity was excellent all day today.

Good luck all. Winkman
