Margin - Count me as relatively lucky too. I made the mistake of buying options in PGO yesterday, but I took the loss when PGO was still above 17. Sold all my remaining options at one point, but bought back BSNX options and increased my shares.

I have yet to do the math, but I'm down no more than 1.5 days of recent gains and probably closer to 1 by the end of the day. Selectively adding some techs to my portfolio here.

I had over 50% margin cushion going into this blowoff so I certainly wasn't forced to sell anything, but nor am I going to step in front of a moving train until I know where it's going to stop.

Since the OPEC meeting my portfolio is up about 25-30%. Today I gave up probably 5%. I'd say I'm still way ahead by using margin.

Currently buying lots of KEG.

"Q" - OEI XTO VPI BR KEG.. should I stop ?

You mentioned a day, or so ago - that you were "fully" margined - then talked about the above... have to assume your shares went down like the other owners of the above ?

...wasn't looking for a food fight; and I did not direct my comments to you; but perhaps you were feeling a little Pinnocchioesque (VBG)?
