AG,

The "if ever" was meant in regard to momentum stocks that were bid up to unsustainable levels. I think we are not out of the woods yet by any means. Before we can call the bottom, we would need to see several consecutive days of closing in the "+" column. What I am seeing as I peruse the SI boards is still a lot of fear of buying the dip. Of course all it takes is a lack of buyers to drag this thing down further. Sounds like I'm creating the "wall of worry" scenario which ultimately is bullish, but I just don't think the recovery phase is going to be pretty or quick. We should certainly know much more starting next week when earnings are reported. If they are as positive as we've been lead to believe, I would expect a rally which should bring out the sellers.
