My prediction, for what it's worth. The "tech wreck" will unwreck itself, at least, where the many truly solid & profitable tech companies are concerned. There's a big difference between an Intel and a Verio, after all. People (hopefully) will begin to understand it. Fundamentals of oil companies right now can't begin to compete with those of the "real" tech companies. If the market actually does become "rational," I personally would not expect a rotation of more than a few days out of tech and into oil.
