There was another reason to sell AMD today.

When I saw the market tanking I sold a few K AMD to have cash in hand. Then I bought positions in the stocks I had confidence in, (DSL stocks, in fact, which for some reason have been crashing with the inets and were all well by midday) and at the same time I picked up April 60 options (at 3 5/8) to replace my AMD long position.

CMTN, which I picked up at 60, actually bottomed at 49 before closing at 88 1/2 up 10 3/4 on the day!

And we think AMD was volatile!
