I think I heard CNBC say there was "no bottom". Later in the day the said oh we expected a come back! what chumps.

Well West, you know me, and you know I avoid like the plaque anything that even smells like it may be overvalued.....I'm always looking for tech value bargains, even when the market is soaring......As far as losing 30% of the account at one point, that was my own personal "pain tolerance" and when I finally pulled the cord and shed holdings.....not about to sit on anything and watch it go down until we find a permanent bottom.

We may have found it, we may not....My guess is we have, although we may test it again - Personally I don't plan on testing my own personal low of a year ago, no matter what happens.

I do not completely disagree, but, we are currently ~1000 points off the high in the Nasdaq.
And, the "BUY ON THE DIPS" mentality is still engrained into a lot of folks (just take a look
at todays action). It may be wise to raise a little cash if you are heavily invested, but, trying to
time the market does not work out well for most investors. I would wager that if you just sit
tight, your stocks will be considerably higher 1 year from today.
