A fair question, which I asked another private money manager, Michael D. Burke, before in this thread. I asked him how he objectively measures the risk level of his portfolio. He declined to answer.

I can find no fund manager who is willing to make this information public to his/her investors. The conclusion that I draw is that there are skeletons lurking in the cupboard. Why isn't honesty the best policy here?

But, tell me this, what would you expect the risk level of a portfolio dabbling in currency futures with significant leverage to be?
