SO - liquidated even the mutual funds, why give up the gift of those gains from last year. In several months will buy all the same ones back at a discount.

Fools that are not taking those gains if they have held them for over one year are going to lose all those gains, that were a gift from last year!!! At worst, they have only lost the gains from this year, soon it could be all the gains from last year! Not worth the bet IMO!

There's probably very few people on margin that
didn't already get whacked, so I don't think
tomorrow morning will dip that badly.

just my 2 cents

I think it speaks volumes that a bull who just two weeks ago was mocking bearish tendencies in others now has come out fully bearish. These rallys are landmines folks, many of us have never seen a bear market before-not saying this is a bear market, just a market exhibiting bearish tendencies. Be careful.

Why?

Because inflation is so high?
Because mortgage rates are at 18%?
Because of such high unemployment?
Hey, maybe it's because of the deficit?
Nah, can't be the deficit,
Must be the surplus...

Give me a break, what did you short my friend?

Fred

I don't think I like you and I think you are overdoing your bearish sentiment a bit too much today...makes me very wary of your intentions...
