My two best trades for the day actually weren't in the patch.
I rode Dell from 50 3/8 to 53 7/8,
and bought SVN.to at 100.95. It closed at 117.
(My other buy on the day was BSNX at 12 7/16 - 9/16. I'm not in such a rush to sell.)

Of course, putting in a sell order at 35 1/4 on APC gave me something to feel good about even before those went through.
At the close BSNX and UPR where the only two stocks I own that ended green, if I'm not mistaken.

And, notwithstnding

CommanderCricket,
I wonder if the folks at work noticed my hair standing up while I was checking quotes today, VBG! More than likely they were too busy pulling theirs out, as they are mostly into techs, heh heh.
I had a hunch last night to take some profits and rotate into some golds but I didn't and today, besides cancelling a small 7 11/16 buy order for UFAB, I had no time to trade. UPR is my main holding at this time, held from 8 3/4 and 9 so bad hair day jokes aside, I was comfortable. Considering the carnage going on around it I thought UPR showed considerable strength.
Missed the lows on UFAB and of course I missed the gold move which I would have caught if I had been able to follow and trade. My only other disappointment is PGO, basis from 16 3/4 and 17. Portfolio damage less than 1/2% even with some margin.

But the API figures don't look encouraging to me, BWDIK, after a busy day coming home to this market mess I'm still trying to figure out what happened ggg!

Best Regards,

Roebear
