Does anyone have any thoughts, insights, ideas etc. on how Conseco would get rid of the finance company?
1. Sell Conseco Finance of in pieces? (i.e. Sell its Manufactured Home division off, Sell its Consumer Finance Division, Sell its Home Improvement Division, Sell its Private Credit card division, Sell its Mortgage Services, etc. etc.)
2. Sell it off in whole?
3. Sell its portfolio of loans? (basically close the doors)

The second scenario would cost the most to a buyer and the third would be the cheapest and quickest. The first scenario could take a while and maybe not get the price wanted.

Any Thoughts.
