LOL!

Speed reading is good if your comprehension goes up otherwise, not good.

As reading my favorite threads and several books related to the technologies I have invested in became a fulltime job, I decided to pay $189
for a photo reading course which is different from speed reading because you are suppose to be able to read 5 times faster and inject the information directly into your subconsious mind giving you a much higher comprehension level.

Well I studied the course to and from our San Diego meeting on the plane for a total of almost 14 hrs. The next day I took that damn Building Network Storage Systems book I've been reading forever and I fanned thru the pages and then skimmed thru it a couple of times for a total of about 10 minutes of photo reading time. Then when my wife got off the floor from laughing because she watched the whole time, I asked her to quiz me, couldn't remember a single page.

So much for photo reading. If anybody has better luck with speed reading, let me know.
