Hi Gang,

I to am very upset after reading Clappy's post. I have tried to stay off the porch today just because people losing money do not need an opinionated SOB like me in their face, but I must say something.

There are three primary reason's why the Houses's will not, at least in this modern era, LET THE MARKETS GO TO HELL and will always bring them back almost immediately like today.

1. Your mother

2. Your father

3. Their inventory

I cannot stress this enough and if people get to where they truly believe this then maybe clappy's situation will not be so prevalent.

Let me ask all of the baby boomers here something. Who would not have been in this market today and why? Also how does the answer to this give me solace and also knowledge that the Houses will always pull the markets back up.

First of all our parents would have been no where near this market and you know why. THE DEPRESSION AND THE STORIES THEY HAD BEEN INURED TO ABOUT IT AND THE AWFUL CONSEQUENCES OF SUCH.

So what does this have with the Houses always bringing the markets back? Simple - If they scare or injure the majority of their INVENTORY BUYERS AND PROVIDERS to the point of abject fear, they would stand to lose billions and billions.

Hope most porchers will keep this in mind.
