Today makes for a wicked Hammer on the Nasdaq. I don't think I've ever seen a rally of this magnitude before, but traditional candlestick analysis would regard today's behavior as being bullish for the short term.

On balance, I have a more bullish tendency short term, but my concern is with the length of the 'shadow' or 'tail' of today's candlestick--it leaves a lot of room for a retracement of the move from the bottom.

PS. I'm on vacation until Monday to study for the CFA. Fortunate or not, I'm not going to be throwing myself into the mix. I figured that from the end of the first quarter to the end of the exam in June, the market isn't going to be much higher than where it closed. It'll be a trader's dream.
