Anyone else remember last year when Microsoft "preannounced" like this? It wasn't a warning, it was "uh, hi, thought you'd like to know we're going to have kickass earnings this quarter."

It was good for a gapper the next day...

Of course, this is different because Ariba's talking about revenue, not earnings, but the New Economy blah blah blah blah blah.
