J. Conley,

Certainly wish I could read the report you've referenced by FBR, but have, to this day, had no desire to download Acrobat onto my computer ('94 model with limited hard drive storage). How might I go about getting a published copy if in fact one can?

I read somewhere the other day that the insurance sector could improve this year, and if so, this would bode well for LPD. Also, with the recent volatility even more unsettling than usual, I can see a case being made for other types of financial instruments becoming more popular for those who seek a safer return on their investments.

That being said, and regarding the "value coming into vogue" statement, I'm reminded that small caps weren't all that popular for quite sometime even though every year analysts seemed to say they expected them to come back any time. "Any time" turned out to be about 3 years if memory serves.

The stock had a great run in the last two months so there could be a range develop before a further rise continues (but then ya'all know the stock better than I, so I'm just guessing). I would think, though, for such a rise to come about, the market would still have to see LDP for its potential associated with its VC endevors versus those related to its other businesses.

My personal opinion is that everything takes time in coming and therefore, the tech stock boom is a ways yet from coming to the end which would be suggested short-term by today's market sell-off and subsequent turn around.

The "all replies viewed as speculative" statement was the first time I ever wrote it on post. All of my comments above are simply speculative, and therefore view other comments in kind so as to suggest that I understand comments are given as such.

Will be watching the stock more actively,

Mike
