We got to see,
I anticipated this correction. I lusted after this correction, and after much decision and factoring I figured that what I could gain was 100 shares of BRCM with no further cost to me. So I set up the perfect plan. Well mister market didn't agree, the three day correction turned into five days at least. I got the BRCM at $217 last week, but then came the payment plan. It was supposed to be payed from a brilliant move on VIGN picking it up cheap, waiting for the split, and selling calls to seal the deal. Only I was a couple days early (The trouble with anticipation) and so the VIGN is maybe a bust, I got a bunch of JDSU calls to try and make up the difference, but now we sit with me likely to break even on the payment plan and still have the BRCM sitting in margin. I could kick myself! I played the 10-98 correction like a king and figured I knew the angles but now I'm going to either have to scrape money off covered calls, sell something I like, or just cross my fingers until arthritis sets in. I suppose this does in my chances for an honorary degree at Harvard. Well, at least I still have the BRCM.
