I looked up the revenue number for the last quarter. It was about $29.7 mil. On sequential quarter-to-quarter basis, it was up around 17.5%, and year-over-year basis, it was up about 59%.

I think these numbers say a lot about where this company is going. After the failure to obtain CableLabs' certification in 9/2/99, the company finally achieved DOCSIS certification in December, 1999. Since then they have been trying to reduce cost via ASIC route. In addition, their longer term plan includes new products that integrates voice, video, and data.

I don't think anyone outside the senior management of the company really knows what the new revenue number will be, but you can make a pretty good guess by reviewing the news items prior to December, 1999 vs. after December 1999. Since December, 1999, there were numerous news items regarding sales and more product certifications.

In addition, in North America,

this will keep things rolling in CMTO's favor, for a while. For abroad, I think CMTO is substantially increasing its sales and marketing force to take more market shares in Asia and Europe.

Just remember that the cable is already laid to your home.

On the negative side, the market (it stinks!) and when CMTO will start making money.
