From Anand,

"We were very impressed by ASUS' microATX K7V-RM when we first tested it, but we were blown away by their ATX K7V. Read on to find out more about what we think is the best KX133 motherboard to date."

Here is the review, anandtech.com

Making a little sense out of today

thread,
Today was definately an odd day. It's hard to make sense out of what little data is available to us amatuers. I can't help but think that today was a scary day that may create jitters in the market for some time to come. I still believe AMD is sound fundamentally, but stocks trade with the markets. AMD could get caught up in a bull market and fly, or AMD could get caught in a bear market and stagnate or rise a little. I'm more worried about the general market holding us back.

Yes, we did end up at about where we started today, but there's a lot more that has to be taken out of today. There were roughly 9 million shares traded in a range of $51 to $64.50, so what does all of this mean?

Good scenario: We flushed out the weak (who were looking for a momentum play) and the bulls loaded up when AMD was in the $50's. Also, the short shares increased. In this scenario, the stock would be more oversold than when we started the day, a definate good sign.

Bad scenario: The bulls held tight and the shorts had an excellant opportunity to cover and eliminate their losses. In this case, the stock would move more to the overbought situation.

My guess is there was some of both. I wish we had access to better data. I'm really perplexed to what the meaning of today is. It would be really interesting to know what the short interest was at the beginning of the day, and at the end of the day.
