HG, I'm inclined to play the market mainly because I have more experience playing this game than any other game. In a bear, I'm inclined to play from the short side and use options. I have no doubt that the internet is the future, as is technology. This will be true long beyond the next 5 years. However, the bleeding edge is very sharp in a competitive technology-based economy and the majority of companies will stumble as new technology supercede old technology at a quickening pace. There are very few GEs that can maintain a competitive advantage for an entire century. Sam
