Yes and No. The stock has earnings and is growing dramatically. The naive earnings estimates for FFIV are 77 cents this year and $1.16 in 2001. FFIV's short history is to blow out all estimates in a big way.

The real concern here is twofold:

1) The Nasdaq enters a Bear Market. It will be difficult though not impossible for FFIV to buck the trend.
2) The kind of investor/trader FFIV attracts. Time will change that.

PS I bought more today at bargain basement prices. But I'm building a long term position, something that few people who buy FFIV do these days.
