If you read my previous post, you'll see how MSFT has complied with the letter of the consent decree, but not the spirit of it.

If I was Corel I would definitely look into filing a lawsuit against MSFT. Clearly Corel has been intentionally locked out of 98% of the OEM market. Corel execs are probably not privy to the language of the contracts between the major OEMs and Microsoft--all they know is that the door is shut between them and the OEM execs. As for IBM and SmartSuite, it seems to me that IBM has been fairly apathetic wrt SmartSuite making any inroads into the applications market--I don't know why. It's obviously a very lucrative business. I use both MS-Office and Corel WordPerfect Suite 2000 (MS at work, Corel at home), and Corel is everything MS is and better, IMO.
