With so many jerks showing up on the thread (drop got to them eh?) criticizing Jenna, I hate to associate myself with their view and don't but I don't agree with Jenna that "buy and hold" is dead. The institutional players have pretty soundly convinced amateurs that it's too dangerous to play out there (although they almost shot themselves in the foot and higher doing it yesterday) and have succeeded because now they will take their time selling those "panic" shares back to investors at rich profits. Fear keeps the herd together and moving in the direction the "leaders" want. But there will be enough of us "loose cannons" around to still generate momentum but with less company, ie. less money in the system for trading. That's my story.

DougRobinson: Your Michigan State giants did it! Sadly you must now turn to the Detroit Tigers. Oh well. By the way, both the Red Sox and Yankees won last night. We're tied for first place. Hope this doesn't get Jenna terribly nervous, and of course it could get worse, for Jenna's favorite team.
It could even effect her trading. That would be awful. Let's see; The Red Sox win the World Series and Jenna goes into deep depression. That's a tough one. I agree with you, another bunch of margin calls may take 'em down early, then they may rally. Interesting days, no? (Lee)

OT: Lee if thing's hold up SF's going to let you know about that Seattle Ball club. There jumping all over that other guy you talk about. Was that Pedro or was it the other one. <gg> Anyway back to the first inning Boston 0 Seattle 5. Those Mariner's sure look good, don't they. CLRS didn't look to bad either, don't tell OJ but I forgot to set my stop on this one, and will have to wait a little longer for my profit. Shouldn't be to frustrating, I used to wait all year for 6 to 8 percent. Oh my how thing's have changed.
