First of all I want to commend the thread for not going nuts the last two days when the market has been so difficult. We've all been civil, and tried to be helpful about strategies this week.

Second, we all agree to disagree on our favorite strategies. They require different skills, approaches to the market, and have different risk profiles. Perhaps we can focus more on WHAT we're doing in this market, and help each other make $ or at least not lose $ (unlike the sad story over on Voltaire's porch of a fellow who panicked and sold everything he had at the low yesterday).

Hi Poet,
I'm wondering how you and others feel about JDSU as an option play at the moment? I've seen some suggestion that it may be in a trading range (from Greg M. I think?), yet with earnings and possible merger coming up is it best to say away from this particular stock?
