breifing looks for improvement. we'll soon know the answer. regards 09:15 ET: Not much enthusiasm in the futures trade this morning as the S&P futures are -22.90, or roughly 14 points below fair value, while the Nasdaq futures are indicated more than 100 points lower... Accordingly, tech stocks are expected to lead early losses, but if--and when-- the big-cap leaders start to recover, we expect the market tone to improve... Among the notable tech stocks receiving upgrades today are America Online (AOL), Micron Technology (MU), Adobe Systems (ADBE), Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), and iTwo Technologies (ITWO)... 30-yr bond +8/32 at 5.755% as the expected equity weakness is providing a boost to the bond market.
