The view at the new headquarters will be great so the engineers will be able to daydream a lot and think up great new products for go2net broadband. When the employees get bored at the office they can always go watch those guys at the Seattle market throw fish around...being so close to all that fish they will probably eat lots of it which I heard can make people smarter so they will program better than the competition 8. They have Mike Quigley in marketing who is off to a slow start but promises great things to come. His boss Goldberg is really a double agent and is giving us all of microsoft's code 7. The president Keister has "cute appeal" which will be great in cutting deals with all the women that for some reason they are currently allowing in the work force in important positions 6. They have big underdog appeal with investors and some on the street. This will ultimately lead to lots of people investing and some of the street helping them succeed 5. Hasbro picked Go2Net to develop their games product. They could have picked many bigger and more well known names but the picked Go2Net. This is in part probably an example of Keister's cute appeal but also probably indicates that the java technology and java engineers that gnet has are top dogs. 3. The SI message board is an enabling technology that can be spun out a zillion times over. The first example of this is up and running an NDB.com and is a thing of beauty. 2. GO2NET has a very rich uncle named Paul Allen who gives us credibility and financial backing. The broadband connection and 20% partnership is Broadband Partners is an enormous opportunity for Go2net. 1. GO2NET has Russ Horowitz better known as the messiah. He is the ultimate mix of GQ, public speaker and smarts. People believe in him and will work hard for him. He has a proven record of establishing a company from the ground up and its only the first inning.
