LAS VEGAS HAPPENING Okay, so I haven't left my computer yet. Over the last few weeks a few folks have been privately organizing the possibility of a get-together in Las Vegas. I have volunteered to be the point man. For those of you who went to San Diego, don't think for a minute that I will make any attempt to do the splendid job of organizing this one the way Lindy, Frank and Nancy organized the last one. Instead, I'll be the person who all information will be funnelled through and I'll be sure to get it back to everyone here in the thread and through e-mail. This will be a much more informal gathering done in a much more ad hoc way. As an example, I won't be calling restaurants and setting aside tables for 50. There will be times we will make a point of gathering for those who want to do so, if for no other reason than to share a good meal together. There will be no presentations, no meetings, no formal discussions of investments (therefore, no legal tax deductions!) organized by me though I'm happy to make others aware of events others might want to organize. The facts known today ... WHEN: Saturday and Sunday, May 20 & 21 WHAT HOTEL: Dunno. I need to get in touch with one of the people who was in on the beginning of this. WHO: Everyone is invited, including friends of friends, children, etc. THEME: Do what you want to do, who you want to do it with, and when you want to do it. The only requirement is to have fun. POSSIBLE EVENTS: There will probably be a golf outing. Please understand that if there is a golf "event" instead of people privately making arrangements to get together on their own, someone will need to step up to the plate to organize it.PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT ME BY PM about this. Please contact me by e-mail but understand I'll be away from my computer probably until Sunday. I'm at mbuckley@aol.com. If you're e-mail address doesn't imply your SI screen name, also please provide that so I know who you are. Much thanks! --Mike Buckley
