You can live in a police state where the mayor tried to have people arrested for jaywalking.

You can live in neighborhoods that are punished in funding and siting of facilities because their political representatives did not jump when Giuliani told them to jump.

And I don't suggest that you feel so comfortable about your wallet....

I have to agree with you, Bill. I love New York, but it has become easier to love during Rudy's tenure. And I have jaywalked with impunity in the last few years, without having police hassle me........
