MRO ouch talk about bad timing. Someone trying to unload a 50K block no takers yet....

Edit someone bought it at 24 and 23 7/8. Took a very short term position at 24 1/16...

re: margin & buying leverage - "Q" what I am doing here...

Is to enter margin slowly, but will max out at 50% maintenace leverage - that's plenty; it allows me to ride out a crash like yesterday if seen.

At 50% maintentace I can miss by 20% a bottom call on my buying an not be "called" - and yet have some buying power left on a 10% miss to pick up something else...

I generally have used margin to ease into blow offs; and I will take profits on the pops as well going back to perhaps 75% maintenace in riding out a move - keeping lots of buying/trading power availble to trade opportunities as they develop. One thing that I like by not maxing out, is to be able to seize really great buying opps like we saw on BHI, or HAL's incredible one day blow offs of the past etc.

Here I jumped on sub $12 BSNX as a real nice opp on the blow off yesterday...

It works for me...
