RE: Todays price cut of Sun servers tells me they are feeling the pain of lower Dell prices. IF sales were great, why cut 44%? May be MSD can whine a little and get Reno, et al, to take a look at the real whiner McNealy.

And that is also an indication of how high margin were before Dell came along Sig The article 18 months or more ago where Michael proclaimed "WE'LL REWRITE THE WAY BUSINESS IS DONE IN THE SERVER INDUSTRY"....Talked of being able to sell them for 50% or less of what the competitors were "GOUGING" currently for them...Sig, Parmer and the twin next door are physical and very visual indications that DELL is preparing to do a tiny bit of business in this industry soon... :o) Best, Kemble
